A Personal Note From the Creator of

Humor and short breaks thru-out your day, can be
effective self-help tools to deal with daily stress. They can improve the function of the body, the mind, and
the spirit.
Laughter
can give us a positive and hopeful attitude on life and
help us get through the terrible things going on around us. It
helps us
deal with
depression.
It gives us more perspective on our problems. Laughter
provides an opportunity for the release of uncomfortable
emotions which, if held inside, may create biochemical
changes that are harmful to the mind and body.
I
have had two heart attacks and know firsthand the damage
a stress-filled life can do. Unfortunately, over 2,500 people die
every
day in the USA from heart disease. It's the #1
killer, killing more than the next 6 combined. HELLO. Did
you catch that?
Of course good eating habits,
proper nutrition, getting a good night's sleep, and
exercise are very important, but taking small 5 to 10
minute breaks thru-out your day and laughing more are
also extremely important to your health.
Actually, short
breaks (such as at TwitterBreak.com) can help you go back to work more
refreshed and creative, and help you get more done
than if you don't take the time out during your day to
just "chill a bit."
One of the main reasons I
created this website was to help people
de-stress.
To help them live healthier, more productive, more
creative, happier and longer lives. Hey, there's a
good chance you'll even
look better
since you'll be less stressed. :~)
Consider this "work in
progress" my labor of love to you. It's my way of sharing my
passions with the world in hopes it will touch many
great people (like you), making your day just a little
bit better in some small way.
